1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking any service with Little Guardians ("we," "us," or "our"), you ("parent," "guardian," or "client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Little Guardians provides professional childcare services in Pune, including but not limited to:

  • Home Child Guardian: In-home play and companionship services
  • Home Study Sessions: Educational support and tutoring
  • Outdoor Guardian: Supervised outdoor activities and play
  • Bring-a-Friend Service: Facilitated playdates with companion children
  • Custom Childcare: Tailored childcare for specific needs
  • Professional Babysitting: Full-day childcare services

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process

  • All bookings must be confirmed by our staff via phone or WhatsApp
  • Services are subject to availability
  • Minimum 24 hours advance booking recommended (same-day available for 70% of requests)
  • Emergency bookings within 4 hours available with additional charges

3.2 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due immediately after service completion
  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, UPI, Bank Transfer
  • No advance payment required for first-time customers
  • Late payment may result in suspension of future services

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Client Cancellations

  • 24+ hours notice: No charges
  • 4-24 hours notice: 25% of service fee
  • Less than 4 hours notice: 50% of service fee
  • No-show: 100% of service fee

4.2 Our Cancellations

  • If we cancel due to guardian unavailability, full refund provided
  • Alternative guardian will be arranged when possible
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, lockdowns) exempt from penalties

5. Safety and Background Checks

We guarantee that all our guardians have:

  • Police verification clearance from Pune authorities
  • Identity verification and address proof
  • Minimum 2 professional references
  • Pediatric first aid certification
  • Child protection training
  • Regular performance reviews

6. Insurance and Liability

6.1 Insurance Coverage

  • Comprehensive liability insurance up to ₹2 lakhs per incident
  • Medical emergency coverage included
  • Property damage coverage (accidental only)

6.2 Liability Limitations

  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service booked
  • We are not liable for pre-existing medical conditions
  • Parents must disclose all relevant medical information
  • Intentional misconduct by the child is not covered

7. Parent Responsibilities

Parents/guardians agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the child's needs, allergies, and medical conditions
  • Ensure the child is in good health at the time of service
  • Provide emergency contact information
  • Inform us of any behavioral issues or special requirements
  • Maintain a safe environment for in-home services
  • Respect our staff and maintain professional boundaries

8. Guardian Conduct

Our guardians are trained to:

  • Maintain professional behavior at all times
  • Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • Respect family privacy and confidentiality
  • Provide regular updates to parents as agreed
  • Report any incidents or concerns immediately

9. Communication and Updates

  • Real-time updates via WhatsApp (photos and messages with parent consent)
  • Emergency contact available 24/7
  • Incident reports provided within 24 hours if applicable
  • Feedback sessions after each service

10. Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy:

  • Personal information is kept confidential and secure
  • Photos/videos of children require explicit parental consent
  • Data is not shared with third parties without consent
  • Right to request data deletion at any time

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Complaint Process

  1. Contact us immediately via WhatsApp or phone
  2. We will investigate within 24 hours
  3. Resolution attempt within 48 hours
  4. Escalation to management if needed

11.2 Mediation

Any disputes will first be resolved through mediation in Pune, Maharashtra. Legal proceedings, if necessary, will be conducted in Pune jurisdiction only.

12. Service Guarantee

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee:

  • First session at 50% discount for new clients
  • If unsatisfied, we provide alternative guardian at no extra cost
  • Full refund if no suitable guardian match found
  • Loyalty rewards program for regular clients

13. Age and Service Limitations

  • Services available for children aged 6 months to 15 years
  • Special needs children require advance consultation
  • Medical care services not provided (first aid only)
  • Transportation services available with prior arrangement

14. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use of our services after modification constitutes acceptance of new terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Indian law and subject to the jurisdiction of Pune courts, Maharashtra.
